Forestry and deforestation services

The assignment includes management of approximately 6400 ha of productive forest land divided into two levels of use, forest close to urban areas and production forest. The forest close to the urban area amounts to about 1000 ha and is largely utilized by the active outdoor life with electric light trails, riding and hiking trails and other facilities, which requires special consideration and care.

The assignment also includes nature conservation-oriented management measures such as clearing, thinning, felling and clearing of trees within approximately 1000 ha of the municipality`s forests close to buildings. A large part of the work within the built-up area will be done by manual work. The assignment covers a total of approximately 7400 ha.
