It is naturally an acidic growing medium (pH 3.5-4.5), which is free of any plant diseases or weeds, and therefore can be used directly to grow blueberries, cranberries, heathers, rhododendrons, azaleas and many other acid loving plants. Moreover, when the pH level is adjusted with calcitic and dolomitic limestone, peat moss becomes perfect growing media for all kind of vegetables, flowers, fruits, ornamental and pot plants, shrubs and trees, mushroom industry.
