Thicknesses can vary, with common measurements like 15mm, 16mm, 18mm, 22mm, and up to 95mm.
Moisture Content:
Pallet elements are often dried to specific moisture levels, such as the KD standard (around 16 or less), or treated to prevent fungal or insect infestation.
Treatment:
Kiln Drying (KD): Reduces moisture content to prevent warping and shrinking.
Heat Treatment (HT): Ensures the wood reaches a minimum temperature to kill pests.
