Purchase of biomass

We have an ongoing need to purchase biomass, which it uses as fuel for its energy plants in Aalborg and Hjørring.

During the first half of 2026, we conducted an EU tender regarding the purchase of coarse biomass. That EU tender was divided into three lots of 5,000 tonnes of coarse biomass each. We have subsequently determined that there is a need to enter into an additional agreement regarding the delivery of a further 5,000 tonnes of coarse biomass per year.

We are therefore tendering an agreement for the purchase of 5,000 tonnes of coarse biomass per year. The contract relates exclusively to coarse biomass to be delivered to our energy plant in Hjørring (Miljøvej 7, 9800 Hjørring). As a general rule, the coarse biomass must be delivered directly into the waste silo.

The contract enters into force upon signature; however, it will not take effect before 1 January 2027.

The contract is divided into two lots:
- Lot 1: Delivery of 1,500 tonnes of coarse biomass per year
- Lot 2: Delivery of 3,500 tonnes of coarse biomass per year.
