We are looking for a direct oak timber manufacturer / sawmill / wood processing company in Romania capable of supplying a long-term industrial customer in the United Kingdom.

The opportunity involves an estimated requirement of approximately 97.3 m³ per month, with potential for a long-term supply agreement.

We are looking for a competitive direct-from-manufacturer quotation, with the objective of achieving a meaningful reduction against the current benchmark.

For a genuine like-for-like comparison, pricing will be assessed taking into account:

Timber grade and sorting;
Final moisture content;
Dimensional tolerances;
Kiln-drying requirements;
Packaging;
Loading;
Transport to the UK;
Any other costs associated with the supply.

Preferred Supplier

Direct manufacturers and sawmills are strongly preferred.

We are particularly interested in companies with the capacity to supply approximately 100 m³ per month consistently, rather than suppliers focused only on occasional or spot orders.

There is also potential for future requirements involving:

PAR oak timber;
14 mm and 16 mm finished thickness;
widths from 100 mm to 200 mm in 25 mm increments;
further machining and processing;
volume production of finished oak products.

This could therefore develop into a significant long-term supply relationship, rather than a one-off purchase.
