What They Are
RUF briquettes are dense, rectangular fuel logs made from compressed wood dust, produced using the RUF briquetting press. They are a sustainable and efficient fuel source, formed without the use of binding agents.
How They Are Made
Wood sawdust or chips are fed into a RUF press, which uses high pressure to compress the material into briquettes. The pressure is high enough to generate heat, binding the sawdust together without the need for glue.
How to Find the Right Specifications
Check the supplier: Specifications can vary between manufacturers.
Look for certificates: Some suppliers provide certificates of analysis to verify briquette quality, such as ash content.
