This villa combines traditional craftsmanship with structural precision. Each beam is assembled using traditional Japanese joinery techniques, ensuring dimensional accuracy, strength, and durability.
The residence rises above a U-shaped reinforced concrete platform, separating it from the surrounding rice fields and creating a central space with a swimming pool and tropical garden.
The architecture blends Indonesian materials with a contemporary tropical style:
• Walls of natural white stone.
• Interior floors made of solid high-density tropical wood planks.
• Structure featuring wooden pillars and roof of the same material.
• Glazed wooden joinery.
• Roof finished with concrete tiles.
• Swimming pool surrounded by a solid tropical wood deck for outdoor use.
The interior layout is organized around an open-plan space integrating the living room, dining area, and kitchen, complemented by two bedrooms and two semi-open bathrooms harmoniously connected with lush vegetation. At the edge of the property, a wooden pergola serves as a viewpoint over the rice fields, offering a privileged space for contemplation.
