Theatre Laths are dried in the automated drying kilns thus providing the average humidity level KD 12% +/-2%. The deals are grown in length (finger joint) and they do not contain any knots. There is at least one jointing line on the broad side of the deal. After the gluing all the surfaces are smoothly planed but the edges are rounded. Small amount of a blue stain, a resin or a core is acceptable.
