WOOD FUEL CO-OPERATIVE
The Wood Fuel Co-operative consists of a group of like-minded folk who have combined resources to provide themselves with an economical supply of best quality wood fuel.
Our objective is to supply our members with premium quality wood fuel at the most economic prices. We do not stock a wide range of products but concentrate on those branded fuels that provide the best balance of heat, convenience and value for money.
We originally tried to source all our products from UK manufacturers, and the majority still does come from the UK. However, our search for the best quality fuels at the most economic prices has taken us to Europe where the wood briquette burning culture is much longer established than here in the UK.
Thanks to our rapidly growing membership base we are now in a position to purchase full artic lorry loads of fuel from the UK and abroad. This buying power is enabling our members to purchase fuel direct from our depot at very low prices.
The Wood Fuel Co-operative does not aim to make a profit from its trading activities but simply to cover operating overheads accrued in supplying its members with their wood fuel.
