Kiln-dried (KD) hardwood firewood is premium, high-efficiency firewood that has been baked in a commercial kiln to reduce its moisture content below 20. This results in a cleaner, hotter, and easier-to-light fire compared to green or air-seasoned wood.
Premium Wood Species For Sale
Oak (Stejar): The gold standard for long burns. It produces exceptional, sustained heat and excellent coals, making it perfect for overnight heating or heavy winter use.
Beech (Fag): A top-tier all-rounder. It delivers a high heat output, clean burn, and minimal sparks, making it ideal for both closed stoves and open fireplaces.
Hornbeam (Carpen): One of the densest hardwoods available. It burns extremely hot and slow, outlasting almost any other firewood species.
Ash (Frasin): Famous for its steady, bright flame and low smoke production. It splits easily and radiates heat beautifully.
Birch (Mesteacăn): A fantastic wood for quick heating. It catches fire very easily due to its natural bark oils, producing a bright, lively flame with a pleasant aroma.
Why Choose Kiln-Dried Hardwood
Maximum Heat Efficiency: Lower moisture means energy isn39;t wasted boiling away water, giving you more heat per log.
Clean Safe: It produces significantly less soot and creosote, keeping your chimney clean and reducing the risk of chimney fires.
Pest-Free: The high-temperature kiln process kills all insects, mold, and fungi, making it completely safe for indoor storage.

Dear Sir or Madam,
We are a fuel trading company based in Austria (Styria/Burgenland region) seeking a capable manufacturer for a long-term partnership.
As we operate our own fleet, we will handle the entire transport process ourselves. We therefore request a non-binding net quote on an EXW (ex-works) basis for full truckloads (FTL, approx. 24 tonnes / 24 pallets).
Please provide pricing and availability for the following products:
• Wood briquettes (100% hardwood / beech / oak; high compression density)
In your quote, please specify which briquette shapes (e.g., rectangular blocks or round cylinders) you currently manufacture at your loading site and the terms under which they are available.
Our business requirements:
• Logistics: Goods must be securely wrapped on Euro-pallets, as we handle on-site loading and pallet transfer using our own truck-mounted cranes.
• Purchase volume: We plan to start with a single test truckload and aim for regular, long-term purchasing, provided the quality meets our standards.
• Legal: We hold a valid Austrian VAT ID (UID) for tax-exempt intra-Community supplies. We require the provision of the necessary EUDR reference number (due diligence statement) at the time of pickup.
Please also inform us of your current lead times and whether a mixed load of different briquette shapes is possible for the initial delivery.
We look forward to receiving your competitive quote.
Sincerely,
Klaus Harb
