The firewood shall consist of hard deciduous species (oak, Turkey oak, hornbeam, elm, black locust, beech), with a minimum diameter of 10 cm and a maximum length of 1 m.

Maximum moisture content: 15–25%.
Delivery of wood showing signs of rot is not accepted.

Hardwood firewood (beech), cut and split.

The logs will be approximately 50–60 cm in length and 20–30 cm in width.

The moisture content of the wood will be between 20% and 40%.

Contract description:

135 cubic meters of hardwood firewood (beech, sessile oak), with a minimum diameter of 15 cm and a maximum length of 1 m.

The wood may be delivered as logs and cut to the required dimensions at the beneficiary`s premises.

Hardwood firewood on pallets (1 cubic meter) with a moisture content of up to 35%, ensuring maximum efficiency upon delivery. The following species are accepted: beech, sessile oak, ash, oak, hornbeam, birch, sycamore maple, Turkey oak, and walnut.

Wood waste, lumber offcuts, etc., are not accepted.

Quality: in accordance with STAS 2340-80 (Category A – processed hardwood), containing no more than 10% soft hardwood or softwood.

Hardwood firewood (sold by weight), palletized and stacked in pallet boxes (containers of uniform dimensions and weight), with a maximum moisture content of 25%.

The following species are accepted: beech, sessile oak, ash, oak, hornbeam, birch, sycamore, etc.

Wood waste, lumber offcuts, etc., are not accepted.

The firewood must be split to a thickness of 8–20 cm and a length of 30–35 cm, and stacked in pallet boxes (containers) of uniform dimensions and weight.

Hardwood firewood, cut to 50 cm, split, transported, and stacked in the institution`s storage area.

The firewood to be delivered shall comply with the provisions of STAS 2340/1980 (Category A: processed hardwood—beech, oak—stacked on pallets, in bags, or loose). Category A comprises processed hardwood (beech, oak) stacked in steres, excluding softwood or coniferous wood.

Specifications:

- the supplied firewood shall be transported and unloaded at each location; it shall be cut by the supplier to lengths between 25 and 30 cm and have diameters ranging from 0.16 m to 0.30 m;
- the firewood must be palletized (packaged) or loose, in accordance with applicable legislation;
- the firewood shall be split (into billets) with a maximum face width of 15 cm to allow insertion through the stove`s firebox door (255x275 mm).

The firewood must not exhibit the following defects:
- cuboidal rot;
- fibrous rot, subject to the conditions specified in Art. 2.3 of STAS 2340/1980 (Category A – processed hardwood stacked in steres on pallets). This standard applies to wood from various hardwood species—derived from forestry operations and the trimming of log overlengths—intended for use as solid fuel (firewood).

Category A comprises processed hardwood (beech, oak) stacked in steres, excluding softwood or coniferous wood.

Estimated value: 248,897 RON.

Solid fuel for local heating - hardwood firewood - quantity 20,000 kg.

The wood material must meet the following requirements:

- minimum diameter: 15 cm
- maximum diameter: 25 cm
- minimum length: 40 cm
- maximum length: 50 cm
- maximum humidity: 30%.

Species (with priority): beech, oak, hornbeam, alder, spruce or other deciduous species with appropriate calorific value.

Firewood must comply with the standards and regulations in force and meet the following conditions:

• 1 meter long;
• split or round;
• hardwood: acacia, oak, beech, hornbeam or elm;
• humidity between 10% and 20%;
• free of rot or other defects that affect quality;
• cut to a length of 1 m and stacked for measurement at a height of 2 m.

Specification:

- the types of hardwood accepted will be: beech, oak, hornbeam, etc.
- the firewood will be cut into logs with dimensions between 25-40 cm long
- the firewood will have a maximum humidity of 30% (open-air dried wood has a humidity of 12-15%) and a maximum allowed rot of 20%.
