Mutala School is a school with 110 pupils, which also operates a 3-group daycare. The building`s heat source is currently oil. Ylöjärvi is a HINKU municipality, and the aim is to replace oil heating with heat production using wood chips or pellets as a heat source.
The subject of the procurement is the delivery of wood pellets to the sites of the Niinisalo local unit of the Defence Properties Western Finland service area.
The estimated procurement quantities are roughly estimated at 450 tonnes/year, approximately 10 full trailer loads/year.
The wood pellets must meet the following quality requirements:
- The size class of the pellets must be D08.
- The fines F must be 1.0 wt-% in the incoming state.
- The ash A must be 0.7 wt-% of the dry matter.
- The moisture M must be 10 wt-% in the incoming state, of the wet weight.
- The effective calorific value, Q must be 16.5 MJ/kg in the incoming state.
The contract does not include a quantity purchase obligation.
