Calorie content - at least 3950 (kcal/kg);
Ash content - no more than 0.9%;
Packaging of pellets - not less than 10 kg, not more than 25 kg;
Made from mixed wood sawdust (coniferous and deciduous), organic;
Wood pellets must be dry, free of impurities, hard, non-crumbling, free of foreign bodies and chippings.

Wood pellets:

- moisture content: no more than 9%;
- diameter: no more than 8 mm;
- length: not less than 15 mm and not more than 30 mm;
- calorie content: at least 3950 (kcal/kg);

The object of this contract is the supply of firewood for the support of the economically weak residents of the Municipality of Komotini for the years 2024 and 2025 which will be made available to persons who are unable due to temporary and emergency needs to cover during the winter season the costs required for their heating and which will be included in the lists of needy citizens drawn up by the Economic Committee, as defined in article 37 par. 2 sec. b of Law 3801/2009 and in the Explanatory Report of Law 3852/2010, given that this action contributes to social welfare and cohesion and the general improvement of the quality of life of the local community.
