We are requesting offers for timber and building boards to be procured for the use of the various service units of the City of Turku in the period 1 November 2024 (target) - 31 October 2025.

The procurement is divided into two (2) sub-areas:

Sub-area 1 Lumber (sawn timber, structural sawn timber, carpentry dry timber, impregnated sawn timber, planed timber, laths, etc.)

Sub-area 2 Building boards (hard, chip, laminate, mdf and plywood sheets, etc.)

In both areas, a contract for procurement is made with one (1) Supplier.

Supply of thermal energy with biomass for municipal heating centres. Estimated value excluding VAT: 364 859,50 EUR.

Framework agreement for the purchase of fuel - wood chips. Estimated value excluding VAT: 603 676,00 EUR.

Supply of wood and wood-based panels for the benefit of units carrying out manufacturing or repair projects as part of maintaining the operational condition of aeronautical environment equipment.

Delivery of wood chips in the required quality to the place of use. Delivery is made using standard transport vehicles or delivery vehicles adapted to the situation. Delivery must be guaranteed all year round. The required quantity per call-off must be made in one delivery only. Partial deliveries are only permitted in absolute exceptions. Delivery must include placement in the existing storage silos. The locations to be supplied are divided into five "geographical" lots.
