Split larch shingles, commonly used for roofing and siding, are typically made from hand-split larch timber, valued for their durability and rustic aesthetic. These shingles are traditionally split radially from the log, resulting in a tapered shape with the grain following the length of the shingle. While dimensions can vary, they are often available in lengths of 30-50 cm and widths of 6-16.5 cm, with a thickness typically between 10-19mm.
