Hardwood firewood (beech, hornbeam) cut to one-meter lengths, with a diameter of minimum 10 cm and maximum 30 cm.

We are purchasing firewood in accordance with STAS 2340-80 (Category A – processed hardwood), free of any softwood admixture. Regarding dimensions, the firewood must be split to a thickness of 8–20 cm and cut to a length of 33 cm.

ANOMALIES AND DEFECTS:
Firewood of all categories may exhibit any anomalies or defects, with the exception of crumbly or fibrous rot.

PROCESSING:
Trees are felled using a saw in high-forest operations and an axe in coppice operations; the wood may retain its bark or be partially or fully debarked, depending on the logging method used.
Processed firewood must have knots trimmed flush with the wood surface.
Firewood ends must be saw-cut, except for breakages and the end originating from the stump.
Firewood must be split into pieces such that the maximum width of any split piece, measured at the thick end of the log, does not exceed 20 cm.

MOISTURE CONTENT:
In accordance with STAS 2340-80, the moisture content of Category A firewood is determined indirectly based on the weight of the stacked volume (stere).

Hardwood firewood for sale:

- oak logs: 400 m³
- hornbeam logs: 400 m³
- linden logs: 350 m³.
